Learn to Skate

Get professional ice skating lessons from qualified experts. We offer classes for everyone, with age groups ranging from 3 years to adult. Each class is 25 minutes long, with 25 minutes of practice time. Helmets required for Basic 1, Adult 1, and Snowplow Sam classes.
We are proud of our extensive coaching experience, including competitors, professional ice show members, and professional Skaters Association (PSA0 members and rated professionals in moves, group, and freestyle categories. Their experience provides you with a well-balanced, progressions-based method of training that is fun for all.

| Snowplow Sam 1, 2, 3 (Ages 3-5) |
| The Snowplow Sam levels are designed to help the preschool age skater develop preliminary coordination and strength necessary to manuever on the ice. Time in Snowplow Sam will allow preschool children to become comfortable on the ice. |
| Basic 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 (Ages 6 and Up) |
| The "Basic Skills" are the fundamentals of the sport. These eight levels of the program introduce the fundamental moves - forward skating, backward skating, stops, edges, crossovers, three turns, and mohawks. Upon completion of the Basic 1-8 levels, skaters will have the basic knowledge of the sport enabling them to advance to the more specialized areas of skating. |
| Hockey 1, 2, 3, 4 (Ages 6 and Up) |
The hockey curriculum is designed to teach the fundamentals of hockey skating. In 4 badge levels, skaters will learn how to maneuver faster and be more agile on the ice. Proper skating techniques are the primary focus of the levels. All elements will be taught without a stick or puck. Skaters will learn the necessary fundamentals of basic skating to be successful in game situations.
(Note: Must pass Snowplow Sam 3 or Basic 1 to sign up for Hockey 1) |
| Adult 1, 2, 3, 4 (Ages 16 and Up) |
| The Adult curriculum is designed for the beginner adult skater. It will promote physical fitness, improve balance and coordination while learning proper skating techniques. Divided into four levels, adult skaters will progress at an individual rate while being challenged and motivated. this is a new exciting program for people who look to skating as an enjoyable way for a fit and healthy lifestyle. |
